O Cangaceiro do Futuro

Virguley (Edmilson Filho) struggles with bills and lack of respect in São Paulo, performing as Lampião due to his resemblance to the legendary cangaceiro, dreaming of becoming a millionaire and returning to the Northeast. After getting into a fight and taking a blow to the head, he is transported to 1927, in the midst of the cangaço, and is mistaken for Lampião. Taking advantage of the confusion, Virguley acts as the true King of the Cangaço and gathers a group to gain power—until he comes face to face with the real Virgulino Ferreira da Silva, Lampião.
