A Flecha e a Farda

The documentary begins with the 2012 discovery of silent footage of members of the GRIN (Indigenous Rural Guard) parading in 1970. It unfolds as an investigation into this exclusively Indigenous paramilitary group, founded and trained by the military dictatorship, whose ranks were never formally dissolved. Through archives and meetings with former members and their families, the film reflects on the dictatorship’s legacy and the place of Indigenous peoples in Brazilian society, where past and present carry equal weight.
